Journey to Norway-Vulcan
Mrs. Dahlman attended Northern Michigan University, pursuing a degree in Art and Design Education, with a minor concentration in Ceramics. While attending NMU, Mrs. Dahlman received several scholarships and awards related to her high academic achievement and success as an artist. In April of 2009 she recived the Best of Show award for her ceramics display in the Devos Art Museum. In December of 2009 she was recognized as the Art and Design outstanding graduating senior.
Mrs. Dahlman completed a portion of her student teaching experince at Norway High School during the 2009-2010 school year with Shelly Danielson. It was through this experience that she connected with the Norway-Vulcan District, and as of August 2010 Dahlman is the DK-6th grade art teacher at Norway-Vulcan.Promoting and Enhancing the Art Experience
"I really would like to take the time to create an interactive web-page where students, parents, and community members can be involved in what is happening in my art classes. As I continue to develop this page, I hope to post weekly updates of assignments and lessons. Eventually I would add some tutorials and video examples. This way, students can have an extra explanation of assignments or can be aware of what's happening in the classroom if they miss a few days. You can also look for gallery pages, supplies needed, announcements, links and images"
